The Medford Urban Renewal Agency (hereinafter, the Agency) is authorized pursuant to Section 2.442 of the Medford Code to have all of the powers provided in Chapter 457, Oregon Revised Statutes.
The Agency shall be exercised by a Board of Directors consisting of nine members appointed by the City Council to serve indefinite terms. Two members shall be City Council members and they shall be full voting members. The other seven members shall be residents of the City of Medford who are not officers or employees of the city.
The Agency shall adopt rules of procedure to govern the conduct of its meetings in carrying out the duties of administering the City Center Revitalization Plan. The City Council retains final approval authority over the plan.
