The (Middleford) Commons

The Commons represents the City Revitalization Plan's most aggressive redevelopment project to date. The Commons represents a multi-phased commercial redevelopment project in the downtown core, and includes a public park, office and residential development, all anchored by Lithia's corporate headquarters. During the past year the Commons concept became a reality with adoption of the Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) by the City, Agency and Developer. As a result of the DDA, the project partners have commenced design of Phase I, property acquisition, and Environmental Site Assessments. During FY 07-08, the design and engineering of the Park Blocks, along with public improvement requirements and land assemblage will be completed and construction underway, followed in FY 08-09 by construction of the Lithia Headquarters.

This project is supported by the following City Center Revitalization Plan projects: URP02, URP03, URP04, URP06, URP15, URP16 and URP20.
