Railroad Circuitry Upgrade
2005, $950,000 (Medford Urban Renewal Agency $700,000, ODOT $250,000)Prior to construction to Evergreen Way, the Oregon Department of Transportation, Rail Division, determined it was necessary to upgrade the circuitry connecting the downtown crossings. The circuitry upgrade enhanced safety, upgraded equipment, and relocated overhead utilities underground. Central Oregon and Pacific Railroad, operator of the rail line, managed the design and installation of the upgrade.
