Medford Library Streetscape and Parking
2003, $1,465,000The Medford Urban Renewal Agency, City of Medford, and Jackson County coordinated efforts to retain the headquarters library in downtown. The role of the Agency started with land acquisition and followed with renovation of the surrounding streetscapes and construction of a 93-space parking lot. In preparation for the library, MURA renovated the streetscapes across from the library and built an 88-space parking lot. Infrastructure improvements included the installation of a new waterline on 9th Street for the Library.
