8th and Holly Streetscape Project
2003, $680,000The First Presbyterian Church requested the Agency become a partner in their renovation project by improving the surrounding streetscapes. The deteriorated existing sidewalks and curbs were replaced and street trees with tree grates and street lights were added. Additionally, the overhead utility lines were placed underground. The 60-year old traffic signals at the intersections of Holly Street with Main Street and 8th Street with Holly Street were replaced.
