The October Downtown Social was held at TJ?s Place, compliments of Tim Vincent and Joe Carlson, owners. There were 15 people in attendance, including the following:

? Marketing Committee: Nancy Passey and Jerry Ehlers

Tim Vincent of TJ?s Place stated that he would contact Howiee?s on Front for the November ?Downtown Social?.

The Committee will draw for October?s $35.00 TJ?s Place Gift Certificate.
VI. Staff Reports
1. Winter Light Festival
? Street Pole Banner Meeting
Nancy Passey and Jackie Rodgers met with the Winter Light Festival Committee and offered funding towards event banner purchases by the Committee. MURA is ordering more winter seasonal banners to fill out the remaining new poles. Also, MURA is considering colored streamers for the other side of the poles. See the new Evergreen Way for examples!
2. Southern Oregon Travelogue Website Streaming

3. DownTowner
Passey Advertising is working with MURA on the newest DownTowner, to be distributed on the Sunday before the tree lighting event, November 26, 2005.
VII. New Business
1. Membership
? Resignation: Hannelore Rippel
Hannelore Rippel submitted her resignation as she is unable to attend at the new meeting time.
? Renewals: Jerry Ehlers, John Norris
Jerry Ehlers has indicated he will renew his membership on the Marketing Committee. Staff has not heard from John Norris at this time.
? Replacement: for Hannelore Ripple
Staff advertised in the Mail Tribune for committee replacements.
? Attendance
Average attendance was 80% for FY04-05, July 2004 ? June 2005.
