Design Committee

The Downtown Design Committee is an advisory committee to the Medford Urban Renewal Agency Board of Directors. The nine-member volunteer committee recommends policy and plans addressing the physical development of the downtown consistent with the City Center 2050 Plan.

Residency, employment, or property ownership within the Central Business District is a requirement for serving on the Downtown Design Committee.

A. The Design Committee meets quarterly, although extra meetings may be held for specific projects.

A. Prior to every meeting, members are sent an agenda. Members are also given a courtesy reminder call or sent an email.


Q. How often do openings become available on the Design Committee?

A. The Agency advertises positions as they become available, and contacts interested citizens whose names are on file.
