The Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater - It's Medford's Showplace and Southern Oregon's Center for the Performing Arts. It's world-class entertainment in an intimate, acoustically outstanding venu located in the heart of downtown Medford. The theater hosts an ever-changing variety of the finest entertainment, from circuses to symphonies, from country music to cutting edge jazz. Herbie Hancock, Brian Setzer, Roy Clark, Natalie Cole, Bryan White, Andrea Marcovicci, Joan Baez, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Cleo Laine, and Jimmy Cliff, have all played the Craterian Genger Rogers stage. Many performers have joined the chorus of audiences raving over the facility; after a recent performance by the legendary Art Garfunkel, the "Voice of a Generation" ranked the Craterian among the very finest venues he's ever played. Because the indoor facility seats just 750 patrons, the setting is intimate and acoustically ideal, yet it's large enough to attract world-class performers.
