Budget Committee

The Budget Committee is an advisory committee to the Medford Urban Renewal Agency Board of Directors. It is compromised of nine public participants, as well as the Agency Board. It is the responsibility of the Committee to review the budget for consistency with the City Center Revitalization Plan and either approve or revise the budget submitted by the Agency Director and to a forward recommendation to the Board for final action.

Budget Committee Members shall be residents of the City of Medford who are not officers or employees of the City and who are registered to vote.

Q. How often does the Budget Committee meet?

A. Typically the Budget Committee meets once or twice a year in May and/or June, as scheduled by the Agency, at 7:00 p.m., in Room 340, Medford City Hall, 411 W. 8th St., Medford, Oregon 97501.


Q. Are Committee members reminded of meeting dates?

A. Prior to every meeting, members are sent an agenda. Members are also given a courtesy reminder call or sent an email.


Q. How often do openings become available on the Budget Committee?

A. Committee appointments are for three year terms with no term limits.
